Hello Netherlands! Our Amsterdam VPS zone is now live

Our Amsterdam VPS zone is live! Deploy instantly in one of Europe’s fastest data hubs with AMD EPYC and NVMe power.

We’re excited to share something we’ve been working toward for months: Our fifth availability zone is officially online in Amsterdam. You can now deploy a VPS there starting today – backed by the same fast hardware, clean control panel, and in-house support that power all our locations.

This new region the next step in building a faster, more redundant network across Europe. Amsterdam joins Bucharest, London, Frankfurt, and Paris as part of our growing infrastructure. More zones are already in the works, and we’ve increased our rollout pace to meet the demand we’ve seen from developers and teams across the EU.

A closer look at the Amsterdam data center campus

Our Amsterdam VPS runs inside a Tier III data center complex at Gyroscoopweg, in the city’s Westpoort business district. The facility is part of a major multi-building campus operated by Digital Realty and Qupra Wholesale, both well-known for high-density, carrier-neutral environments.

The campus connects directly to AMS-IX, one of the largest internet exchanges in the world, handling more than 11 Tbps of traffic at peak times. This means your VPS communicates with hundreds of networks and carriers at sub-20 ms latency to most of Europe. Connections to London average 16 ms, to Paris 14 ms, and to Frankfurt 12 ms.

Power capacity exceeds 30 MW across the AMS1 and AMS4 facilities, each built to Tier III standards with N+1 redundancy for all critical systems. The site uses dual utility feeds, 2N UPS setups, and on-site generators capable of running for 24 hours without refueling. Cooling is handled by a combination of direct and indirect systems tuned for energy efficiency, with a campus-wide PUE averaging 1.2.

Security follows a five-layer model that includes 24/7 on-site guards, biometric verification, CCTV monitoring with 90-day retention, and mantrap entry points. The site holds certifications for ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and PCI-DSS compliance.

Like the rest of our infrastructure, the Amsterdam zone runs entirely on 100% renewable energy.

What this means for you

If your audience or team is based in Western Europe, Amsterdam offers an ideal balance of proximity and performance. Routing within the Netherlands and surrounding regions is extremely fast, and access to AMS-IX gives our network one of the lowest latencies you’ll find in this part of Europe.

The new zone also adds more redundancy across our platform. With Bucharest in Eastern Europe and Frankfurt, Paris and London serving Central and Western regions, Amsterdam strengthens our backbone and ensures better distribution for failover and replication setups.

We own and operate our servers here just like everywhere else. Each machine runs on AMD EPYC processors, triple-replicated NVMe SSD storage, and a 1 Gbps network with unmetered bandwidth. Every VPS includes dual-stack IPv4 and IPv6, built-in DDoS protection, and firewall management that you can control directly from the dashboard.

Our in-house sysadmins are available 24/7 for any request. They’re the same people who maintain the infrastructure, not a call center reading from scripts. That’s one reason we can move fast when something needs attention.

Part of a growing European network

Since launching our first zone in Bucharest, we’ve expanded into London, Frankfurt, Paris and now Amsterdam. Each location uses identical almost server configurations, storage clusters, and security standards. This consistency lets you deploy workloads across regions without worrying about hardware differences or unexpected performance drops.

We’re already preparing additional zones to improve coverage even further. Expansion will continue throughout 2026, with new sites planned in other major European hubs.
